Announcements View   What is BICO Visualization of BICO Codes View   Census issues commodity-specific Correction - Exports to China The U.S. Census Bureau Foreign Trade Statistics division issues commodity-specific corrections in response to investigations initiated by the community of data-users. Census recently released an unpublished data correction which replaces some erroneously reported exports of wheat (HS 1001.99.2055) and wheat planting seeds (HS 1001.91.0000) to China for November 2024 with exports of soybeans (HS 1201.90.0095) and sorghum (HS 1007.90.0000), respectively. The data correction was implemented in GATS on March 6 and details of the change may be found under the Reference Info tab > Revisions/Notices > Data Revisions. Further information about Census’s statistical data corrections and process can be found here: https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/statistics/corrections/index.html. Note that Census will not publish the change in the USA Trade Online database until the release of the 13th month data corrections in June 2025. View   commodity-specific correction The U.S. Census Bureau Foreign Trade Statistics division issues commodity-specific corrections in response to investigations initiated by the community of data-users. A problem was reported on import data from Turkey of eggs (HS 0407.21.90) for which Census released an unpublished data correction. The data correction was implemented in GATS on February 21 and details of the change may be found under the Reference Info tab > Revisions/Notices > Data Revisions.
