This summary is based on reports from exporters for the
period September 12-18, 2025.
Wheat:
Net sales of 539,800 metric tons (MT) for 2025/2026 were up 43 percent from the
previous week and 37 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily
for the Philippines (116,000 MT), Italy (86,900 MT, including 25,000 MT switched
from unknown destinations), Indonesia (77,400 MT), Japan (58,100 MT), and
Bangladesh (55,000 MT), were offset by reductions for Nigeria (12,500 MT), Spain
(12,000 MT), Thailand (2,000 MT), unknown destinations (1,400 MT), and Venezuela
(200 MT). Exports of 896,000 MT were up 16 percent from the previous week and 18
percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to the
Philippines (132,000 MT), Indonesia (83,800 MT), Mexico (82,700 MT), Venezuela
(71,900 MT), and Vietnam (69,600 MT).
Corn:
Net sales of 1,923,400 MT for 2025/2026 were primarily for Mexico (891,100 MT,
including 35,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 3,200
MT), unknown destinations (290,700 MT), Colombia (190,900 MT, including 59,000
MT switched from unknown destinations, 10,000 MT switched from Honduras, and
decreases of 68,100 MT), Spain (97,100 MT, including 50,000 MT switched from
unknown destinations), and Japan (86,900 MT, including 67,200 MT switched from
unknown destinations and decreases of 1,500 MT). Exports of 1,315,900 MT were
primarily to Mexico (491,000 MT), Japan (331,600 MT), Colombia (162,400 MT),
Spain (97,100 MT), and Ireland (60,200 MT).
Barley:
Total net sales of 7,300 MT for 2025/2026 were for Canada. Exports of 2,300 MT
were to South Korea (1,300 MT), Canada (500 MT), and Japan (500 MT).
Sorghum:
Net sales of 56,600 MT for 2025/2026 reported for unknown destinations (90,000
MT), were offset by reductions for Mexico (33,400 MT). Exports of 30,600 MT were
to Mexico.
Rice:
Net sales of 8,300 MT for 2025/2026 were unchanged from the previous week, but
down 78 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Haiti
(6,200 MT, including decreases of 1,000 MT), Mexico (3,900 MT, including
decreases of 2,400 MT), Taiwan (1,700 MT), Japan (900 MT, including decreases of
100 MT), and Israel (600 MT), were offset by reductions for Venezuela (5,000 MT)
and Saudi Arabia (1,000 MT). Exports of 40,500 MT were down 32 percent from the
previous week and 1 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were
primarily to Haiti (14,200 MT), Saudi Arabia (9,400 MT), El Salvador (5,600 MT),
Mexico (4,800 MT), and Canada (3,300 MT).
Late Reporting:
For 2025, exports of 327 MT of medium, short and other classes, milled rice were
reported late to Japan.
Soybeans:
Net sales of 724,500 MT for 2025/2026 were primarily for Egypt (166,200 MT,
including 100,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 2,600
MT), Taiwan (115,300 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), Mexico (85,900 MT),
Indonesia (79,400 MT, including 55,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and
decreases of 100 MT), and unknown destinations (75,000 MT). Exports of 512,400
MT were primarily to Egypt (209,200 MT), Indonesia (80,000 MT), the United
Kingdom (67,100 MT), Mexico (47,600 MT), and Japan (46,700 MT).
Exports for Own Account:
For 2025/2026, the current exports for own account outstanding balance of 1,800
MT were to Taiwan.
Soybean Cake and Meal:
Net sales of 79,600 MT for 2024/2025 were up noticeably from the previous week
and from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Venezuela (46,200
MT), unknown destinations (11,300 MT), Colombia (8,300 MT, including 6,000 MT
switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 500 MT), Morocco (6,000 MT),
and the Philippines (4,000 MT), were offset by reductions for Belgium (1,300 MT)
and Indonesia (400 MT). Net sales of 146,600 MT for 2025/2026 primarily for
Colombia (52,500 MT), unknown destinations (46,100 MT), Vietnam (27,000 MT),
Costa Rica (20,900 MT), and the Dominican Republic (13,000 MT), were offset by
reductions for Venezuela (19,700 MT), Mexico (6,500 MT), and Morocco (6,000 MT).
Exports of 228,500 MT were down 3 percent from the previous week and 8 percent
from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to the
Philippines (48,500 MT), Mexico (44,800 MT), Colombia (43,300 MT), the Dominican
Republic (33,000 MT), and Venezuela (16,500 MT).
Optional Origin Sales:
For 2024/2025, the current outstanding balance of 12,000
MT is all Ecuador. For 2025/2026, the current outstanding balance of 24,800 MT
is for Peru (18,000 MT) and Ecuador (6,800 MT).
Soybean Oil:
Net sales reductions of 23,300 MT for 2024/2025--a marketing-year low--were
reported for Venezuela (100 MT) and Canada (100 MT), were more than offset by
reductions for South Korea (22,000 MT) and Mexico (1,600 MT). Net sales of
53,200 MT were primarily for South Korea (22,000 MT), Venezuela (13,500 MT), the
Dominican Republic (7,500 MT), Jamaica (3,500 MT), and Mexico (2,000 MT).
Exports of 8,800 MT were up noticeably from the previous week and from the prior
4-week average. The destinations were to Venezuela (7,100 MT), Mexico (1,100
MT), and Canada (600 MT).
Cotton: Net sales of
Upland totaling 86,100 RB for 2025/2026 were down 54 percent from the previous
week and from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for India (27,300
RB), Turkey (22,300 RB, including 3,700 RB switched from Pakistan), Bangladesh
(15,400 RB), Vietnam (13,500 RB), and Italy (4,400 RB), were offset by
reductions for Pakistan (3,700 RB) and Peru (100 RB). Exports of 137,200 RB were
up 14 percent from the previous week and 6 percent from the prior 4-week
average. The destinations were primarily to Vietnam (41,700 RB), India (21,000
RB), Bangladesh (20,600 RB), Mexico (8,500 RB), and Turkey (8,500 RB). Net sales
of Pima totaling 8,500 RB for 2025/2026 were up 66 percent from the previous
week and up noticeably from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily
for Colombia (6,400 RB), Pakistan (900 RB), Bangladesh (800 RB), India (400 RB),
and Guatemala (100 RB). Exports of 5,200 RB were up noticeably from the previous
week, but down 22 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were
to India (3,300 RB), Peru (1,300 RB), Bangladesh (300 RB), Vietnam (200 RB), and
Indonesia (100 RB).
Exports for Own Account:
For 2025/2026, the current outstanding balance of 3,200 RB is all Vietnam.
Hides and Skins:
Net sales of 381,100 pieces for 2025 were down 10 percent from the previous
week, but up 5 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for
China (215,300 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 14,300 pieces), Brazil
(60,300 whole cattle hides), South Korea (34,400 whole cattle hides, including
decreases of 700 pieces), Mexico (28,200 whole cattle hides, including decreases
of 3,200 pieces), and Taiwan (15,600 whole cattle hides),
were
offset by reductions for India (4,000 pieces) and Japan (100 pieces). In
addition, net sales of 8,300 kip skins reported for Belgium (8,600 kip skins),
were offset by reductions for Italy (300 kip skins).
Exports of 394,400 whole cattle hides were down 1 percent from the previous
week, but up 8 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were
primarily to China (242,800 pieces), Mexico (64,100 pieces), South Korea (36,000
pieces), Thailand (14,700 pieces), and Italy (13,500 pieces). Exports of 2,600
kip skins were to Italy.
Net sales of 344,500 wet blues for 2025 were up 18 percent from the previous
week and up noticeably from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for
Vietnam (186,900 unsplit, including decreases of 300 unsplit), Italy (57,000
unsplit, including decreases of 4,700 unsplit), China (48,000 unsplit), Thailand
(32,400 unsplit), and Bangladesh (16,000 unsplit), were offset by reductions for
Hong Kong (100 unsplit). Net sales of 1,500 wet blues for 2026 reported for
Vietnam (3,800 unsplit), were offset by reductions for Italy (2,300 unsplit).
Net sales of 16,900 other excluding wet blues were reported for China (9,200
pounds) and Mexico (7,700 pounds). Exports of 107,800 wet blues were down 23
percent from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average. The
destinations were primarily to Italy (35,300 unsplit and 1,500 grain splits),
Vietnam (32,500 unsplit), Hong Kong (13,100 unsplit), Thailand (8,200 unsplit),
and South Korea (7,300 grain splits). Exports of 800 other excluding wet blues
were to Mexico. Net sales of 289,000 splits were reported for Taiwan (246,000
pounds) and China (43,000 pounds). Exports of 43,000 splits were to China.
Beef:
Net sales of 8,400 MT for 2025 were down 47 percent from the previous week and
42 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for Japan
(2,000 MT, including decreases of 200 MT), Mexico (1,800 MT, including decreases
of 100 MT), South Korea (1,300 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), Taiwan (1,100
MT, including decreases of 100 MT), and Canada (900 MT, including decreases of
100 MT). Net sales of 100 MT for 2026 were for Taiwan. Exports of 12,500 MT were
down 5 percent from the previous week, but up 11 percent from the prior 4-week
average. The destinations were primarily to Japan (3,400 MT), South Korea (2,900
MT), Mexico (1,500 MT), Taiwan (1,100 MT), and Canada (1,000 MT).
Pork:
Net sales of 29,400 MT for 2025 were up 34 percent from the previous week and 12
percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Mexico (10,000
MT, including decreases of 500 MT), South Korea (4,900 MT, including decreases
of 300 MT), Japan (3,800 MT, including decreases of 200 MT), the Dominican
Republic (2,600 MT), and Colombia (2,000 MT, including decreases of 200 MT),
were offset by reductions for Panama (100 MT). Total net sales of 200 MT for
2026 were for South Korea.
Exports of 29,300 MT were unchanged from the
previous week, but up 12 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations
were primarily to Mexico (13,100 MT), Japan (3,600 MT), China (2,800 MT), South
Korea (2,400 MT), and Colombia (1,900 MT).
