U.S. EXPORT SALES FOR WEEK ENDING 3/19/2026

Hides and Skins: Net sales of 376,200 pieces for 2026 were up 24 percent from the previous week and 47 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China (302,100 whole cattle hides, including 7,200 pieces switched from Indonesia and decreases of 17,600 pieces), Mexico (32,200 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 4,300 pieces), Thailand (24,100 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 2,200 pieces), South Korea (24,100 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 100 pieces), and Italy (1,500 whole cattle hides), were offset by reductions for Indonesia (7,300 pieces) and Brazil (2,000 pieces). Exports of 295,300 whole cattle hides were down 16 percent from the previous week and 6 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China (179,300 pieces), Mexico (43,600 pieces), Thailand (22,600 pieces), South Korea (19,300 pieces), and Italy (12,900 pieces).

Net sales of 256,900 wet blues for 2026 primarily for Vietnam (108,200 unsplit, including decreases of 100 unsplit), Italy (79,500 unsplit and 4,800 grain splits, including decreases of 100 unsplit), China (42,200 unsplit and 9,600 grain splits), Taiwan (11,700 unsplit), and Bangladesh (800 unsplit), were offset by reductions for Hong Kong (100 unsplit). Net sales of 2,300 other excluding wet blues were reported for China (1,600 pounds) and Mexico (700 pounds). Exports of 151,400 wet blues were up 26 percent from the previous week and 18 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Vietnam (61,700 unsplit), Italy (23,900 unsplit), Thailand (18,200 unsplit), China (18,000 unsplit), and Bangladesh (14,300 unsplit). Exports of 7,900 other excluding wet blues were to China (4,800 pounds) and Turkey (3,100 pounds). No net sales or exports of splits were reported for the week.
