U.S. EXPORT SALES FOR WEEK ENDING 1/15/2026
Hides and Skins:
Net sales of 400,800 pieces for 2026 primarily for China (274,700 whole
cattle hides, including decreases of 12,100 pieces), South Korea (37,400
whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,000 pieces), Mexico (34,700
whole cattle hides, including decreases of 4,600 pieces), Thailand (18,700
whole cattle hides, including decreases of 2,000 pieces), and Italy (12,900
whole cattle hides, including decreases of 200 pieces), were offset by
reductions for Brazil (1,300 pieces). Total net sales of 2,200 calf skins
were for Italy. Exports of 342,200 whole cattle hides were primarily to
China (225,600 pieces), Mexico (41,200 pieces), South Korea (28,700 pieces),
Thailand (18,600 pieces), and Brazil (12,400 pieces).
Net sales of 339,700 wet blues for 2026 primarily for Hong Kong (211,000
unsplit, including decreases of 200 unsplit), Vietnam (81,100 unsplit,
including 7,200 unsplit switched from China and decreases of 100 unsplit),
Italy (47,900 unsplit, including decreases of 100 unsplit), Taiwan (2,800
grain splits), and Brazil (2,600 unsplit, including decreases of 100 unsplit),
were offset by reductions for China (6,800 unsplit). For 2027, total net
sales of 76,800 unsplit were for Hong Kong. Net sales of 15,800 other
excluding wet blues were reported for Turkey (8,200 pounds), China (6,400
pounds), and Mexico (1,100 pounds). Exports of 130,800 wet blues were
primarily to Vietnam (34,300 unsplit), China (33,200 unsplit), Italy (29,600
unsplit), Brazil (14,100 unsplit), and Taiwan (9,600 unsplit). Exports of
9,000 other excluding wet blues were to China (5,600 pounds), Turkey (3,000
pounds), and Mexico (400 pounds). No net sales or exports of splits were
reported for the week.
