Wheat:
Net sales of 100,300 metric tons (MT) for 2024/2025 were down noticeably
from the previous week and down 65 percent from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for Japan (72,000 MT), Nigeria (53,400 MT, including 52,000
MT switched from unknown destinations), the Philippines (29,800 MT), Mexico
(13,900 MT, including decreases of 2,100 MT), and Haiti (10,000 MT, including
decreases of 2,000 MT), were offset by reductions for unknown destinations
(125,500 MT), Panama (8,700 MT), and Belize (2,300 MT). Net sales of 11,200 MT
for 2025/2026 were reported for Trinidad and Tobago (4,200 MT), Panama (3,500
MT), and Peru (3,500 MT). Exports of 428,700 MT were down 9 percent from the
previous week, but up 18 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations
were primarily to Mexico (71,600 MT), the Philippines (57,800 MT), South Korea
(55,400 MT), Nigeria (53,400 MT), and Japan (44,700 MT).
Export Adjustments:
Accumulated exports of hard red winter wheat to Japan were adjusted down 34,568
MT for week ending January 23. This shipment was reported in error.
Corn:
Net
sales of 1,039,600 for 2024/2025 were down 31 percent from the previous week,
but unchanged from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Japan
(415,300 MT, including 248,200 MT switched from unknown destinations and
decreases of 7,200 MT), Mexico (309,900 MT, including 55,000 MT switched from
unknown destinations and decreases of 4,400 MT), Colombia (212,900 MT, including
98,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 63,200 MT), South
Korea (135,300 MT, including decreases of 600 MT), and Vietnam (135,300 MT,
including 132,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), were offset by
reductions for unknown destinations (494,000 MT) and Panama (9,900 MT). Exports
of 1,651,800 MT were down 2 percent from the previous week, but up 8 percent
from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico
(495,700 MT), Japan (440,800 MT), Colombia (171,900 MT), South Korea (136,300
MT), and Taiwan (76,100 MT).
Export Adjustments:
Accumulated exports of corn to Angola were adjusted down 10,558 MT for week
ending February 20. This shipment was reported in error.
Barley:
No net sales for 2024/2025 were reported for the week. Exports of 200 MT
were to Canada.
Sorghum: Total
net sales of 11,200 MT for 2024/2025 were down 60 percent from the previous week
and 52 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were for Mexico. Exports
of 2,200 MT were down 69 percent from the previous week and 87 percent from the
prior 4-week average. The destination was Mexico.
Rice:
Net sales of 101,700 MT for 2024/2025 were up noticeably from the
previous week and up 39 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases
primarily for Honduras (28,000 MT, including 10,000 MT switched from unknown
destinations), Mexico (23,300 MT), South Korea (22,200 MT), Nicaragua (18,000
MT), and Guatemala (11,000 MT, including 12,000 MT switched from unknown
destinations and decreases of 900 MT), were offset by reductions for unknown
destinations (22,000 MT). Exports of 79,900 MT were up 14 percent from the
previous week and 48 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations
were primarily to Nicaragua (18,000 MT), Haiti (15,300 MT), Mexico (12,900 MT),
Guatemala (11,000 MT), and Honduras (10,300 MT).
Soybeans:
Net sales of 338,500 MT for 2024/2025 were down 4 percent from the
previous week and 28 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily
for Mexico (260,900 MT, including decreases of 3,000 MT), China (202,300 MT,
including 199,600 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 5,200
MT), Japan (86,200 MT, including 62,500 MT switched from unknown destinations
and decreases of 300 MT), the Netherlands (69,600 MT, including 60,000 MT
switched from unknown destinations), and Taiwan (32,800 MT, including decreases
of 400 MT), were offset by reductions for unknown destinations (361,400 MT) and
Egypt (7,000 MT). Net sales reductions of 21,900 MT for 2025/2026 resulting in
increases for unknown destinations (66,000 MT) and Japan (6,300 MT), were more
than offset by reductions for Mexico (94,200 MT). Exports of 922,100 MT were up
56 percent from the previous week and 13 percent from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to China (472,400 MT), Japan (136,200 MT), Egypt
(108,000 MT), Mexico (72,500 MT), and the Netherlands (69,600 MT).
Exports for Own Account:
For 2024/2025, the current exports for own account
outstanding balance of 2,600 MT are for Taiwan (1,600 MT), Bangladesh (500 MT),
and Malaysia (500 MT).
Soybean Cake and Meal:
Net
sales of 165,600 MT
for 2024/2025 were down 9 percent from the previous week and 15 percent from the
prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for the Netherlands (60,000 MT,
including 30,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Colombia (30,500 MT,
including 3,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,700
MT), Morocco (17,700 MT, including 15,900 MT switched from unknown
destinations), Mexico (14,800 MT, including decreases of 15,600 MT), and
Honduras (13,900 MT, including 5,800 MT switched from unknown destinations and
decreases of 5,000 MT), were offset by reductions for unknown destinations
(9,400 MT), Belgium (2,300 MT), Japan (200 MT), and Panama (100 MT). Net sales
of 400 MT for 2025/2026 were reported for Mexico (300 MT) and Canada (100 MT).
Exports of 246,400 MT were down 27 percent from the previous week and 19 percent
from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to the
Philippines (50,100 MT), Ecuador (40,400 MT), Mexico (36,000 MT), Morocco
(35,700 MT), and Canada (21,400 MT).
Optional Origin Sales:
For
2024/2025, the current outstanding balance of 29,300 MT, all Ecuador.
Soybean Oil: Net
sales of 44,500 MT for 2024/2025 were up 30 percent from the previous week and 1
percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Colombia (16,300
MT, including decreases of 9,400 MT), the Dominican Republic (9,100 MT,
including decreases of 6,000 MT), Venezuela (8,000 MT), Guatemala (7,600 MT),
and Costa Rica (3,000 MT), were offset by reductions for Mexico (1,000 MT).
Exports of 29,000 MT were down 26 percent from the previous week, but up 4
percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were Colombia (13,500
MT), Mexico (7,000 MT), the Dominican Republic (5,100 MT), Guatemala (3,000 MT),
and Canada (400 MT).
Cotton: Net
sales of Upland totaling 84,400 RB for 2024/2025 were down 17 percent from the
previous week and 57 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily
for Pakistan (35,300 RB, including decreases of 900 RB), Vietnam (18,900 RB,
including 6,400 RB switched from China, 800 RB switched from South Korea, and
200 RB switched from Japan), Turkey (16,900 RB), Bangladesh (14,600 RB,
including decreases of 100 RB), and Thailand (9,600 RB), were offset by
reductions for China (27,000 RB), Mexico (2,800 RB), El Salvador (100 RB), and
Guatemala (100 RB). Net sales of 41,600 RB for 2025/2026 were reported for
Malaysia (17,600 RB), Thailand (12,300 RB), Honduras (7,500 RB), Mexico (2,600
RB), and Japan (1,600 RB). Exports of 393,400 RB were up 12 percent from the
previous week and 16 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations
were primarily to Vietnam (114,900 RB), Turkey (69,400 RB), Pakistan (68,100
RB), Mexico (23,700 RB), and India (19,400 RB). Net sales of Pima totaling
19,900 RB for 2024/2025 were down 25 percent from the previous week, but up 25
percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Vietnam (13,100
RB), India (4,500 RB), Thailand (1,300 RB), Pakistan (1,200 RB), and Italy (400
RB), were offset by reductions for China (1,300 RB). Exports of 11,900 RB were
down 29 percent from the previous week, but up 26 percent from the prior 4-week
average. The destinations were primarily to China (4,100 RB), Peru (2,400 RB),
Vietnam (1,300 RB), Pakistan (1,200 RB), and India (1,100 RB).
Optional Origin Sales: For 2024/2025, the current outstanding balance
of 8,800 RB, all Pakistan.
Exports for Own Account: For 2024/2025, new exports for own account
totaling 7,700 RB were to China (6,600 RB) and Vietnam (1,100 RB). The current
exports for own account outstanding balance of 17,500 were to China (16,400 RB)
and Vietnam (1,100 RB).
Hides and Skins:
Net sales of 373,500 pieces for 2025 were up 13 percent from the previous
week and 24 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China
(265,500 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 8,900 pieces), South Korea
(56,700 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 900 pieces), Mexico (23,000
whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,500 pieces), Brazil (18,200 whole
cattle hides, including decreases of 200 pieces), and Thailand (6,200 whole
cattle hides, including decreases of 900 pieces), were offset by reductions for
Italy (100 pieces). In addition, total net sales reductions of 200 kip skins
were for Belgium. Exports of 294,500 whole cattle hides were down 21 percent
from the previous week and 15 percent from the prior 4-week average. The
destinations were primarily to China (195,000 pieces), Mexico (43,500 pieces),
South Korea (22,100 pieces), Thailand (18,700 pieces), and Brazil (7,000
pieces). Exports of 1,300 kip skins were to Belgium.
Net sales of 199,400 wet blues for 2025 were
up noticeably from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.
Increases primarily for Thailand (87,100 unsplit, including decreases of 100
unsplit), Vietnam (56,800 unsplit), China (19,900 unsplit and 1,700 grain
splits, including decreases of 4,500 unsplit), South Korea (11,200 unsplit and
2,800 grain splits), and Italy (11,800 unsplit, including decreases of 200
unsplit), were offset by reductions for Hong Kong (100 unsplit) and Brazil (100
unsplit). Exports of 136,500 wet blues were down 2 percent from the previous
week, but up 5 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were
primarily to Vietnam (42,400 unsplit), China (27,800 unsplit), Thailand (21,400
unsplit), Italy (17,100 unsplit), and South Korea (7,500 unsplit and 1,400 grain
splits). No net sales or exports of splits were reported for the week.
Beef:
Net sales of 8,000 MT for 2025
were down 22 percent from the previous week and 43
percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases
primarily for South Korea (3,300 MT, including decreases of 500 MT), Japan
(1,800 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), Mexico (1,200 MT, including decreases
of 100 MT), Taiwan (800 MT, including decreases of 200 MT), and Hong Kong (300
MT, including decreases of 100 MT), were offset by reductions for the United
Kingdom (100 MT). Exports of 14,100 MT were down 8 percent from the previous
week and 5 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were
primarily to South Korea (4,000 MT), Japan (3,500 MT), China (2,400 MT), Mexico
(1,500 MT), and Canada (700 MT).
Pork: Net
sales of 31,900 MT for 2025 were up 77 percent from the previous week and 13
percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for Mexico
(14,400 MT, including decreases of 200 MT), Colombia (3,700 MT, including
decreases of 100 MT), Canada (3,300 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), South
Korea (3,200 MT, including decreases of 200 MT), and Japan (2,900 MT, including
decreases of 100 MT). Exports
of 31,600 MT were down 4 percent from the previous week and 5 percent from the
prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (11,900 MT),
South Korea (4,100 MT), Japan (4,100 MT), China (3,600 MT), and Colombia (2,000
MT).
