Export Sales Highlights 

This summary is based on reports from exporters for the period July 4-10, 2025. 

Wheat: Net sales of 494,400 metric tons (MT) for 2025/2026 were down 13 percent from the previous week, but up 8 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Mexico (83,500 MT, including decreases of 23,700 MT), Venezuela (71,600 MT, including 23,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 100 MT), South Africa (51,800 MT, including 50,000 MT switched for unknown destinations), Japan (49,100 MT), and Peru (47,000 MT, including decreases of 5,300 MT), were offset by reductions for El Salvador (8,700 MT). Exports of 432,900 MT were down 3 percent from the previous week, but up 7 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (153,700 MT), the Philippines (66,000 MT), South Africa (51,800 MT), South Korea (51,000 MT), and Japan (35,100 MT). 

Corn: Net sales of 97,600 MT for 2024/2025--a marketing-year low--were down 92 percent from the previous week and 89 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Japan (187,900 MT, including 183,600 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 2,900 MT), Colombia (78,600 MT, including 74,700 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 6,100 MT), South Korea (77,100 MT, including 65,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 200 MT), the United Kingdom (44,000 MT), and Egypt (33,100 MT, including 32,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), were offset by reductions for unknown destinations (390,700 MT) and Mexico (79,300 MT). Net sales of 565,900 MT for 2025/2026 primarily for unknown destinations (287,100 MT), Mexico (175,900 MT), Japan (65,000 MT), the United Kingdom (18,000 MT), and Nicaragua (14,700 MT), were offset by reductions for Honduras (1,000 MT) and Guatemala (100 MT). Exports of 1,210,700 MT were down 28 percent from the previous week and 24 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Japan (299,900 MT), Mexico (280,200 MT), South Korea (271,800 MT), Colombia (111,000 MT), and Taiwan (76,100 MT).

 

Barley: Total net sales of 1,000 MT for 2025/2026 were for Canada. Exports of 2,200 MT were to Canada (1,900 MT) and Japan (300 MT).

 

Sorghum: Net sales of 13,300 MT for 2024/2025 were down 22 percent from the previous week and 46 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases for unknown destinations (15,000 MT), were offset by reductions for Mexico (1,700 MT). Exports of 11,800 MT were down 19 percent from the previous week and 62 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destination was Mexico. 

 

Rice: Net sales of 13,800 MT for 2024/2025 were down 16 percent from the previous week, but up 18 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for Haiti (7,100 MT), Canada (1,700 MT), Mexico (1,400 MT), Israel (1,300 MT), and Honduras (1,000 MT). Net sales of 40,100 MT for 2025/2026 were primarily for Japan (40,000 MT). Exports of 33,500 MT were up noticeably from the previous week, but down 13 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Japan (14,800 MT), Honduras (10,200 MT), Mexico (3,800 MT), Canada (2,000 MT), and Israel (1,300 MT).  

 

Soybeans: Net sales of 271,900 MT for 2024/2025 were down 46 percent from the previous week and 39 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Taiwan (68,800 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), Germany (63,400 MT), Algeria (32,000 MT), Egypt (25,400 MT, including 22,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Vietnam (25,400 MT, including decreases of 100 MT), were offset by reductions for Mexico (9,200 MT) and Venezuela (2,000 MT). Net sales of 529,600 MT for 2025/2026 were primarily for Mexico (326,600 MT), unknown destinations (102,000 MT), Japan (50,000 MT), Vietnam (18,900 MT), and Indonesia (16,900 MT). Exports of 276,400 MT were down 30 percent from the previous week and 8 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Germany (63,400 MT), Mexico (44,600 MT), Indonesia (32,700 MT), Japan (26,200 MT), and Egypt (25,400 MT).

 

Exports for Own Account: For 2024/2025, the current exports for own account outstanding balance of 2,800 MT were to Taiwan (1,800 MT), Bangladesh (500 MT), and Malaysia (500 MT).

 

Export Adjustments:  Accumulated exports of soybeans to the Netherlands were adjusted down 63,379 MT for week ending June 19. The correct destination for this shipment is Germany.

 

Soybean Cake and Meal: Net sales of 356,500 MT for 2024/2025 were up 72 percent from the previous week and 86 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for the Philippines (232,600 MT), Colombia (62,500 MT, including 20,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,600 MT), Ecuador (49,500 MT, including 50,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 500 MT), New Zealand (30,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Saudi Arabia (25,400 MT, including 24,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), were offset by reductions for unknown destinations (141,200 MT), Panama (6,900 MT), Jamaica (3,100 MT), and Belgium (1,600 MT). Net sales of 174,000 MT for 2025/2026 primarily for the Philippines (96,000 MT), unknown destinations (50,500 MT), the Dominican Republic (19,500 MT), Canada (13,100 MT), and Guatemala (400 MT), were offset by reductions for Mexico (3,000 MT) and Honduras (2,700 MT). Exports of 343,200 MT were up 17 percent from the previous week and 26 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (122,100 MT), Ecuador (49,500 MT), Canada (38,900 MT), Saudi Arabia (25,400 MT), and Guatemala (25,200 MT).

 

Optional Origin Sales: For 2024/2025, the current outstanding balance of 59,400 MT, all Ecuador. For 2025/2026, the current outstanding balance of 1,800 MT, all Ecuador.

 

Soybean Oil: Net sales of 7,900 MT for 2024/2025 were up 97 percent from the previous week and 71 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Venezuela (7,000 MT) and Mexico (1,600 MT), were offset by reductions for Canada (800 MT). Exports of 4,500 MT were down 7 percent from the previous week and 51 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (2,300 MT) and Canada (2,100 MT).  

Cotton: Net sales of Upland totaling 5,500 RB for 2024/2025 were down 93 percent from the previous week and 89 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Vietnam (7,600 RB, including 500 RB switched from South Korea), Peru (5,900 RB), Bangladesh (1,200 RB), Turkey (500 RB), and Indonesia (400 RB, including 400 RB switched from Vietnam), were offset by reductions primarily for Pakistan (5,900 RB), Thailand (2,300 RB), Japan (900 RB), Italy (700 RB), and South Korea (500 RB). Net sales of 73,000 RB for 2025/2026 primarily for Honduras (22,800 RB), Nicaragua (13,200 RB), Pakistan (8,900 RB), South Korea (6,200 RB), and Turkey (4,500 RB), were offset by reductions for Vietnam (400 RB). Exports of 156,400 RB were down 35 percent from the previous week and 29 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Vietnam (54,500 RB), Turkey (28,500 RB), Pakistan (12,400 RB), Mexico (11,500 RB), and India (11,100 RB). Net sales of Pima totaling 2,600 RB for 2024/2025 were down 25 percent from the previous week, but up noticeably from the prior 4-week average. Increases reported for India (2,400 RB), Pakistan (900 RB), Bangladesh (300 RB), and Thailand (300 RB), were offset by reductions for Italy (1,400 RB). Net sales of 3,400 RB for 2025/2026 were reported for India (1,900 RB), Italy (1,400 RB), and Thailand (100 RB). Exports of 7,900 RB were down 55 percent from the previous week and 20 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were to India (3,100 RB), Peru (1,900 RB), Egypt (1,300 RB), Pakistan (1,200 RB), and China (400 RB).  

Optional Origin Sales: For 2024/2025, the current outstanding balance of 8,400 RB, all Pakistan. 

Exports for Own Account: For 2024/2025, new exports for own account totaling 900 RB were to Pakistan. The current exports for own account outstanding balance of 17,300 RB were to Turkey (8,100 RB), Vietnam (5,500 RB), Bangladesh (2,800 RB), and Pakistan (900 RB). 

Hides and Skins: Net sales of 342,500 pieces for 2025 were down 20 percent from the previous week and 14 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for China (173,000 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 3,600 pieces), Mexico (102,500 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 600 pieces), South Korea (29,700 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 400 pieces), Thailand (14,300 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 200 pieces), and Indonesia (12,500 whole cattle hides). In addition, total net sales reductions of 200 kip skins were for Belgium. Exports of 258,200 whole cattle hides were down 30 percent from the previous week and 38 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China (131,600 pieces), Mexico (42,400 pieces), South Korea (26,100 pieces), Thailand (23,700 pieces), and India (11,500 pieces). Exports of 1,300 kip skins were to Belgium.

 

Net sales of 58,300 wet blues for 2025 were down 44 percent from the previous week and 38 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Italy (44,400 unsplit), Vietnam (10,500 unsplit), Thailand (10,000 unsplit), India (4,000 unsplit), and Indonesia (3,400 grain splits), were offset by reductions for Brazil (14,100 unsplit) and Hong Kong (100 unsplit). Exports of 97,300 wet blues were down 40 percent from the previous week and 24 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Thailand (30,900 unsplit), Italy (27,400 unsplit), Vietnam (23,000 unsplit), China (6,400 unsplit), and Hong Kong (5,900 unsplit). Total net sales of 40,300 splits were for Vietnam. Exports of 81,200 splits were to Vietnam.

 

Beef: Net sales of 8,800 MT for 2025 were down 24 percent from the previous week and 28 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for Japan (2,500 MT, including decreases of 300 MT), Mexico (1,900 MT, including decreases of 100 MT), Hong Kong (1,400 MT), Canada (800 MT), and Taiwan (700 MT). Exports of 10,300 MT were down 27 percent from the previous week and 25 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to South Korea (3,600 MT), Japan (3,100 MT), Taiwan (1,000 MT), Mexico (900 MT), and Canada (500 MT).

 

Pork: Net sales of 17,100 MT for 2025 were down 30 percent from the previous week and 48 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for Mexico (7,700 MT, including decreases of 1,000 MT), Japan (2,500 MT, including decreases of 300 MT), Colombia (1,500 MT), Canada (1,100 MT, including decreases of 200 MT), and China (1,000 MT, including decreases of 100 MT). Exports of 26,500 MT were down 12 percent from the previous week and 19 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (12,400 MT), China (3,600 MT), Japan (3,300 MT), South Korea (2,300 MT), and Colombia (1,100 MT).
