Export Sales Highlights 

This summary is based on reports from exporters for the period June 27-July 3, 2025.

 

Wheat: Net sales of 567,800 metric tons (MT) for 2025/2026 primarily for South Korea (90,000 MT), Japan (70,000 MT), Mexico (55,900 MT), Malaysia (55,000 MT), and the Philippines (54,400 MT), were offset by reductions for the Dominican Republic (22,900 MT), unknown destinations (1,600 MT), and Thailand (400 MT). Total net sales of 9,400 MT for 2026/2027 were for Peru. Exports of 447,200 MT were primarily to Brazil (63,300 MT), the Philippines (58,000 MT), South Korea (55,000 MT), South Africa (48,300 MT), and Japan (35,300 MT).

 

Corn: Net sales of 1,262,100 MT for 2024/2025 were up noticeably from the previous week and up 70 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Mexico (469,900 MT, including 90,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 32,800 MT), Japan (436,200 MT, including 185,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 5,300 MT), South Korea (146,100 MT, including 62,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Colombia (119,000 MT, including decreases of 23,600 MT), and Guatemala (59,600 MT, including 28,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 3,400 MT), were offset by reductions for unknown destinations (140,200 MT) and Costa Rica (2,700 MT). Net sales of 888,600 MT for 2025/2026 were primarily for Mexico (423,900 MT), Japan (304,800 MT), unknown destinations (112,400 MT), El Salvador (37,000 MT), and Nicaragua (6,500 MT). Exports of 1,679,000 MT were up 15 percent from the previous week and 5 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (727,100 MT), Japan (429,700 MT), South Korea (136,100 MT), Colombia (75,600 MT), and the Dominican Republic (54,400 MT).

 

Barley: No net sales for 2024/2025 were reported for the week. Exports of 1,700 MT were to Canada (1,600 MT) and Japan (100 MT).

 

Sorghum: Net sales of 17,000 MT for 2024/2025 were down 76 percent from the previous week and 61 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases reported for unknown destinations (53,000 MT) and Colombia (100 MT), were offset by reductions for Mexico (34,800 MT) and Japan (1,300 MT). Exports of 14,600 MT were down 83 percent from the previous week and 52 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destination was Mexico. 

 

Rice: Net sales of 16,400 MT for 2024/2025 were down 4 percent from the previous week and 17 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for Mexico (9,100 MT), Japan (2,900 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), El Salvador (2,500 MT), Canada (1,600 MT), and the Bahamas (100 MT). Net sales of 33,300 MT for 2025/2026 were reported for Honduras (20,600 MT), Japan (7,700 MT), and El Salvador (5,000 MT). Exports of 11,800 MT--a marketing-year low--were down 38 percent from the previous week and 76 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Japan (4,600 MT), Mexico (3,100 MT), Canada (1,700 MT), South Korea (1,200 MT), and Israel (500 MT).

 

Soybeans: Net sales of 503,000 MT for 2024/2025 were up 9 percent from the previous week and 43 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for unknown destinations (114,400 MT), Egypt (88,600 MT, including 88,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,000 MT), Japan (72,300 MT), Indonesia (70,500 MT, including 55,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), and the Netherlands (58,100 MT, including 65,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 6,900 MT), were offset by reductions for Costa Rica (1,100 MT), Malaysia (300 MT), and the Philippines (100 MT). Net sales of 248,400 MT for 2025/2026 were primarily for unknown destinations (191,000 MT), Mexico (28,000 MT), Taiwan (11,900 MT), Indonesia (9,500 MT), and Pakistan (4,000 MT). Exports of 395,900 MT were up 57 percent from the previous week and 20 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Egypt (88,600 MT), Indonesia (81,700 MT), Mexico (79,100 MT), the Netherlands (58,100 MT), and South Korea (24,200 MT).

 

Exports for Own Account: For 2024/2025, the current exports for own account outstanding balance of 2,800 MT were to Taiwan (1,800 MT), Bangladesh (500 MT), and Malaysia (500 MT).

 

Soybean Cake and Meal: Net sales of 207,700 MT for 2024/2025 were down 32 percent from the previous week, but up 7 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for Colombia (38,600 MT, including decreases of 11,900 MT), unknown destinations (30,500 MT), Japan (25,100 MT, including decreases of 800 MT), Mexico (21,700 MT), and the Dominican Republic (21,000 MT). Net sales of 370,800 MT for 2025/2026 were primarily for unknown destinations (221,000 MT), Colombia (46,500 MT), Vietnam (24,800 MT), the Philippines (20,000 MT), and Canada (15,000 MT). Exports of 294,300 MT were up 24 percent from the previous week and 13 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Bangladesh (51,700 MT), the Philippines (51,100 MT), Mexico (46,400 MT), the Dominican Republic (34,000 MT), and Guatemala (25,200 MT).

 

Optional Origin Sales: For 2024/2025, the current outstanding balance of 59,400 MT, all Ecuador. For 2025/2026, the current outstanding balance of 1,800 MT, all Ecuador.

 

Soybean Oil: Net sales of 4,000 MT for 2024/2025 were down 66 percent from the previous week and 20 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for Mexico (3,700 MT) and Canada (300 MT, including decreases of 500 MT). Exports of 4,800 MT were down 18 percent from the previous week and 56 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (3,800 MT) and Canada (900 MT).

 

Cotton: Net sales of Upland totaling 75,100 RB for 2024/2025 were up noticeably from the previous week and up 55 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Vietnam (33,600 RB, including 200 RB switched from Japan and decreases of 300 RB), Pakistan (13,000 RB), India (9,700 RB), Turkey (7,700 RB, including decreases of 1,400 RB), and Bangladesh (6,600 RB, including decreases of 16,000 RB), were offset by reductions for Guatemala (2,600 RB). Net sales of 81,500 RB for 2025/2026 primarily for Bangladesh (23,100 RB), Vietnam (19,900 RB), South Korea (16,300 RB), Mexico (9,100 RB), and Egypt (6,600 RB), were offset by reductions for Honduras (100 RB). Exports of 240,900 RB were down 6 percent from the previous week, but up 9 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Vietnam (95,900 RB), Turkey (46,400 RB), Bangladesh (21,900 RB), India (14,600 RB), and Guatemala (14,400 RB). Net sales of Pima totaling 3,400 RB for 2024/2025 primarily for India (1,300 RB, including decreases of 1,200 RB), China (1,300 RB), Thailand (400 RB), Vietnam (100 RB), and Japan (100 RB), were offset by reductions for Germany (100 RB). Total net sales of 2,600 RB of Pima for 2025/2026 were for India. Exports of 17,600 RB--a marketing-year high--were up 61 percent from the previous week and up noticeably from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Vietnam (8,700 RB), India (4,200 RB), Pakistan (1,300 RB), Thailand (1,100 RB), and China (1,000 RB).

 

Optional Origin Sales: For 2024/2025, the current outstanding balance of 8,400 RB, all Pakistan.

 

Exports for Own Account: For 2024/2025, new exports for own account totaling 8,200 RB were to Turkey (8,100 RB) and Pakistan (100 RB). The current exports for own account outstanding balance of 16,500 RB were to Turkey (8,100 RB), Vietnam (5,500 RB), Bangladesh (2,800 RB), and Pakistan (100 RB).

 

Hides and Skins: Net sales of 427,600 pieces for 2025 were up 32 percent from the previous week and 18 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China (332,600 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 16,000 pieces), Mexico (43,500 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,100 pieces), South Korea (33,500 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,200 pieces), Thailand (18,600 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 500 pieces), and Italy (6,300 whole cattle hides), were offset by reductions for Taiwan (2,000 pieces) and Brazil (100 pieces). Exports of 369,200 whole cattle hides were down 17 percent from the previous week and 9 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China (210,100 pieces), Mexico (47,900 pieces), South Korea (42,000 pieces), Thailand (36,400 pieces), and Brazil (13,000 pieces).

 

Net sales of 104,900 wet blues for 2025 were up 4 percent from the previous week and 11 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Italy (54,800 unsplit), Thailand (28,700 unsplit, including decreases of 100 unsplit), Mexico (11,200 grain splits), South Korea (6,800 unsplit and 4,100 grain splits), and Brazil (300 unsplit, including decreases of 100 unsplit), were offset by reductions for Taiwan (700 unsplit), Vietnam (400 unsplit), and Hong Kong (100 unsplit). Total net sales of 12,000 wet blues for 2026 were for Vietnam. Exports of 162,000 wet blues were up 32 percent from the previous week and 26 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Italy (48,100 unsplit), Thailand (35,200 unsplit), Vietnam (33,500 unsplit), South Korea (6,800 unsplit and 4,100 grain splits), and Mexico (9,200 grain splits). No net sales or exports of splits were reported for the week.

 

Beef: Net sales of 11,600 MT for 2025 were up 1 percent from the previous week, but down 12 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Japan (4,000 MT, including decreases of 200 MT), South Korea (3,800 MT, including decreases of 300 MT), Mexico (1,100 MT), Taiwan (1,100 MT, including decreases of 100 MT), and Hong Kong (800 MT), were offset by reductions for China (400 MT). Exports of 14,100 MT were down 5 percent from the previous week, but up 1 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to South Korea (4,500 MT), Japan (4,500 MT), Taiwan (1,400 MT), Mexico (1,200 MT), and Canada (1,000 MT). 

 

Pork: Net sales of 24,300 MT for 2025 were down 11 percent from the previous week and 17 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China (8,800 MT), Mexico (7,300 MT, including decreases of 500 MT), Japan (4,200 MT, including decreases of 100 MT), Colombia (900 MT, including decreases of 100 MT), and Australia (500 MT), were offset by reductions for Vietnam (100 MT). Exports of 30,100 were unchanged from the previous week, but down 10 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (12,700 MT), Japan (4,000 MT), South Korea (3,300 MT), China (2,100 MT), and Colombia (1,700 MT).
