Wheat:
Net sales of 107,300 metric tons (MT) for 2024/2025 were down 68 percent
from the previous week and 56 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases
primarily for unknown destinations (92,800 MT), Nigeria (40,000 MT, including
36,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Mexico (31,700 MT, including
decreases of 25,600 MT), Thailand (25,000 MT), and Colombia (21,500 MT,
including 20,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), were offset by
reductions for Panama (157,400 MT) and Honduras (500 MT). Net sales of 107,700
MT for 2025/2026 were reported for Japan (64,200 MT), Mexico (22,500 MT), and
South Korea (21,000 MT). Exports of 339,100 MT were down 32 percent from the
previous week and 16 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations
were primarily to Mexico (82,900 MT), Japan (60,800 MT), Nigeria (40,000 MT),
Colombia (35,200 MT), and Vietnam (34,700 MT).
Corn:
Net
sales of 785,600 MT for 2024/2025 were down 33 percent from the previous week
and from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for South Korea (204,200
MT, including 63,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Colombia (196,700
MT, including 55,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Japan (180,800 MT,
including 137,200 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 23,200
MT), Mexico (151,000 MT, including 55,000 MT switched from unknown destinations
and decreases of 148,400 MT), and Vietnam (59,800 MT, including 55,000 MT
switched from unknown destinations), were offset by reductions for unknown
destinations (57,200 MT), Panama (37,600 MT), Honduras (6,600 MT), and the
Philippines (4,400 MT). Net sales of 236,200 MT for 2025/2026 were reported for
Mexico (226,200 MT) and Japan (10,000 MT). Exports of 1,699,400 MT were down 6
percent from the previous week and 3 percent from the prior 4-week average. The
destinations were primarily to Mexico (512,900 MT), Japan (384,000 MT), South
Korea (194,200 MT), Colombia (181,500 MT), and Taiwan (129,100 MT).
Barley:
No net sales for 2024/2025 were reported for the week. Exports of 1,200
MT were to Japan (600 MT), South Korea (300 MT), and Canada (300 MT).
Sorghum: Net
sales of 22,600 MT for 2024/2025 were up 16 percent from the previous week, but
down 2 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Mexico
(22,500 MT) and Japan (9,800 MT, including 10,000 MT switched from unknown
destinations and decreases of 200 MT), were offset by reductions for unknown
destinations (10,000 MT). Exports of 40,800 MT were up noticeably from the
previous week and from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were Japan
(19,800 MT), Mexico (18,200 MT), and China (2,800 MT).
Rice:
Net sales of 34,700 MT for 2024/2025 were up 4 percent from the previous
week, but down 26 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were
primarily for Haiti (15,200 MT), Japan (7,200 MT), unknown destinations (6,000
MT), Honduras (2,500 MT, including decreases of 2,500 MT), and Canada (1,500 MT,
including decreases of 200 MT). Exports of 21,900 MT were down 75 percent from
the previous week and 67 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations
were primarily to Nicaragua (6,000 MT), Japan (5,300 MT), Mexico (4,200 MT),
Canada (2,200 MT), and Taiwan (1,400 MT).
Soybeans:
Net sales of 172,300 MT for 2024/2025 were down 58 percent from the
previous week and 63 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily
for China (141,300 MT, including 132,000 MT switched from unknown destinations),
the Netherlands (69,700 MT, including 60,000 MT switched from unknown
destinations), Japan (60,800 MT, including 18,000 MT switched from unknown
destinations and decreases of 1,200 MT), Egypt (44,500 MT, including 52,800 MT
switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 8,300 MT), and Indonesia
(43,600 MT, including decreases of 100 MT), were offset by reductions for
unknown destinations (256,700 MT). Exports of 765,400 MT were down 9 percent
from the previous week and 7 percent from the prior 4-week average. The
destinations were primarily to China (344,200 MT), Egypt (109,500 MT), the
Netherlands (69,700 MT), Mexico (63,900 MT), and Japan (59,200 MT).
Exports for Own Account:
For 2024/2025, the current exports for own account
outstanding balance of 2,600 MT are for Taiwan (1,600 MT), Bangladesh (500 MT),
and Malaysia (500 MT).
Soybean Cake and Meal:
Net
sales of 276,000 MT
for 2024/2025 were up noticeably from the previous week and up 76 percent from
the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for the Philippines (137,700 MT),
Colombia (47,300 MT, including 12,000 MT switched from Venezuela and 10,000 MT
switched from unknown destinations), Japan (32,800 MT, including 30,000 MT
switched from Vietnam and decreases of 1,200 MT), New Zealand (30,000 MT
switched from unknown destinations), and Mexico (27,800 MT), were offset by
reductions primarily for unknown destinations (36,500 MT), Venezuela (10,600
MT), Honduras (9,500 MT), Canada (3,700 MT), and Panama (3,000 MT). Net sales of
11,200 MT for 2025/2026 were reported for Mexico (6,500 MT) and Canada (4,700
MT). Exports of 360,000 MT were down 31 percent from the previous week, but up 4
percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to
Colombia (95,800 MT), the Philippines (48,600 MT), Mexico (48,400 MT), Japan
(32,100 MT), and Venezuela (26,400 MT).
Optional Origin Sales:
For
2024/2025, new optional sales of 16,000 MT were for Ecuador. The current
outstanding balance of 51,300 MT, all Ecuador.
Soybean Oil: Net
sales of 20,200 MT for 2024/2025 were up 46 percent from the previous week, but
down 50 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for the
Dominican Republic (12,500 MT, including decreases of 11,600 MT), Mexico (3,000
MT - late), Colombia (1,900 MT, including decreases of 3,700 MT), Nicaragua
(1,600 MT), and Canada (1,000 MT, including decreases of 100 MT). Exports of
36,100 MT were down 18 percent from the previous week, but up 6 percent from the
prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Guatemala (8,600 MT),
Mexico (5,900 MT, including 3,000 MT - late), Venezuela (5,000 MT), Colombia
(4,200 MT), and Honduras (3,300 MT).
Late Reporting:
For 2024/2025, net sales and exports of 3,017 MT were reported late for Mexico.
Cotton: Net
sales of Upland totaling 115,100 RB for 2024/2025 were down 11 percent from the
previous week and 22 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily
for Vietnam (64,800 RB, including 2,200 RB switched from China, 1,300 RB
switched from South Korea, and decreases of 700 RB), Turkey (19,100 RB,
including decreases of 300 RB), Thailand (7,500 RB), Honduras (6,100 RB,
including decreases of 100 RB), and Malaysia (4,400 RB), were offset by
reductions for China (1,800 RB) and Pakistan (800 RB). Net sales of 18,900 RB
for 2025/2026 were reported for Honduras (6,600 RB), Vietnam (6,600 RB), El
Salvador (4,300 RB), and Thailand (1,400 RB). Exports of 377,200 RB were down 4
percent from the previous week and 2 percent from the prior 4-week average. The
destinations were primarily to Vietnam (128,400 RB), Pakistan (69,100 RB),
Turkey (64,300 RB), Bangladesh (15,200 RB), and Mexico (14,800 RB). Net sales of
Pima totaling 2,700 RB for 2024/2025 were down 68 percent from the previous week
and 82 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for India
(2,200 RB), China (1,000 RB switched from Hong Kong), Guatemala (300 RB), and
Peru (200 RB), were offset by reductions for Hong Kong (1,000 RB). Exports of
8,000 RB were down 44 percent from the previous week and 36 percent from the
prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to India (2,000 RB), Egypt
(1,800 RB), Vietnam (1,100 RB), China (1,000 RB), and Costa Rica (900 RB).
Optional Origin Sales: For 2024/2025, the current outstanding balance
of 8,800 RB, all Pakistan.
Exports for Own Account: For 2024/2025, the current exports for own
account outstanding balance of 17,400 were to China (16,300 RB) and Vietnam
(1,100 RB).
Hides and Skins:
Net sales of 336,100 pieces for 2025 were up 25 percent from the previous
week and 12 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China
(230,300 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 30,400 pieces), Mexico
(76,900 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 800 pieces), Thailand (11,000
whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,800 pieces), South Korea (6,300
whole cattle hides, including decreases of 5,800 pieces), and Italy (5,300 whole
cattle hides, including decreases of 200 pieces), were offset by reductions for
Brazil (300 pieces) and Indonesia (100 pieces). In addition, total net sales of
200 kip skins were for Belgium (including decreases of 200 pieces). Exports of
293,800 whole cattle hides were down 27 percent from the previous week and 17
percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China
(169,500 pieces), Mexico (34,400 pieces), South Korea (31,800 pieces), Thailand
(31,000 pieces), and Brazil (10,700 pieces). Exports of 1,300 kip skins were to
Belgium.
Net sales of 20,500 wet blues for 2025 were
down 92 percent from the previous week and 85 percent from the prior 4-week
average. Increases reported for Vietnam (17,800 unsplit, including decreases of
100 unsplit), China (2,600 unsplit), Brazil (100 unsplit), and Thailand (100
unsplit), were offset by reductions for Hong Kong (200 unsplit). Exports of
125,700 wet blues were down 17 percent from the previous week and 10 percent
from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Vietnam
(33,900 unsplit), Thailand (31,000 unsplit), Italy (26,200 unsplit), China
(16,700 unsplit and 3,200 grain splits), and Hong Kong (7,800 unsplit). Total
net sales of 377,100 splits were for Vietnam. No exports of splits were reported
for the week.
Beef:
Net sales of 11,900 MT for 2025
were up 28 percent from the previous week and 14
percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases
primarily for South Korea (4,900 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), Japan
(3,300 MT, including decreases of 300 MT), Mexico (1,100 MT, including decreases
of 100 MT), Taiwan (1,000 MT, including decreases of 100 MT), and Hong Kong (600
MT), were offset by reductions for China (100 MT). Exports of 15,100 MT were up
1 percent from the previous week, but unchanged from the prior 4-week average.
The destinations were primarily to South Korea (5,500 MT), Japan (4,000 MT),
China (1,600 MT), Mexico (1,200 MT), and Taiwan (1,000 MT).
Pork: Net
sales of 23,900 MT for 2025 were down 55 percent from the previous week and 23
percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Mexico (8,900 MT,
including decreases of 100 MT), Japan (3,600 MT, including decreases of 100 MT),
South Korea (3,200 MT, including decreases of 500 MT), Colombia (2,200 MT,
including decreases of 100 MT), and Australia (1,700 MT), were offset by
reductions for Canada (100 MT). Exports
of 30,100 MT were down 9 percent from the previous week and 8 percent from the
prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Mexico (11,700 MT),
Japan (4,500 MT), South Korea (4,400 MT), China (2,500 MT), and Colombia (1,900
MT).
