U.S. EXPORT SALES FOR WEEK ENDING 7/3/2025 

Hides and Skins: Net sales of 427,600 pieces for 2025 were up 32 percent from the previous week and 18 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for China (332,600 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 16,000 pieces), Mexico (43,500 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,100 pieces), South Korea (33,500 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,200 pieces), Thailand (18,600 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 500 pieces), and Italy (6,300 whole cattle hides), were offset by reductions for Taiwan (2,000 pieces) and Brazil (100 pieces). Exports of 369,200 whole cattle hides were down 17 percent from the previous week and 9 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China (210,100 pieces), Mexico (47,900 pieces), South Korea (42,000 pieces), Thailand (36,400 pieces), and Brazil (13,000 pieces).

Net sales of 104,900 wet blues for 2025 were up 4 percent from the previous week and 11 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Italy (54,800 unsplit), Thailand (28,700 unsplit, including decreases of 100 unsplit), Mexico (11,200 grain splits), South Korea (6,800 unsplit and 4,100 grain splits), and Brazil (300 unsplit, including decreases of 100 unsplit), were offset by reductions for Taiwan (700 unsplit), Vietnam (400 unsplit), and Hong Kong (100 unsplit). Total net sales of 12,000 wet blues for 2026 were for Vietnam. Exports of 162,000 wet blues were up 32 percent from the previous week and 26 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Italy (48,100 unsplit), Thailand (35,200 unsplit), Vietnam (33,500 unsplit), South Korea (6,800 unsplit and 4,100 grain splits), and Mexico (9,200 grain splits). No net sales or exports of splits were reported for the week.
