U.S. EXPORT SALES FOR WEEK ENDING 5/29/2025 

Hides and Skins: Net sales of 413,000 pieces for 2025 were down 38 percent from the previous week and 6 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were primarily for China (253,900 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 6,900 pieces), Mexico (53,400 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 37,500 pieces), South Korea (43,800 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 600 pieces), Ethiopia (19,900 whole cattle hides), and Thailand (18,300 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 100 pieces). In addition, total net sales reductions of 300 kip skins were for Italy. Exports of 351,800 whole cattle hides were up 62 percent from the previous week and 51 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to China (172,600 pieces), South Korea (71,600 pieces), Mexico (62,000 pieces), Thailand (21,100 pieces), and Indonesia (8,600 pieces). Exports of 2,600 kip skins were to Italy.

Net sales of 64,400 wet blues for 2025 were down 79 percent from the previous week and 41 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases primarily for Italy (48,400 unsplit, including decreases of 200 unsplit), South Korea (10,200 grain splits), Mexico (4,200 grain splits), India (1,200 unsplit), and Thailand (300 unsplit), were offset by reductions for Hong Kong (100 unsplit). Exports of 124,000 wet blues were up 10 percent from the previous week and 4 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Vietnam (53,500 unsplit), Italy (20,900 unsplit), Thailand (16,200 unsplit), Hong Kong (11,200 unsplit), and China (6,400 unsplit). Total net sales of 39,600 splits were for Vietnam. Exports of 81,900 splits were to Vietnam.
