U.S. EXPORT SALES FOR WEEK ENDING 1/23/2025

Hides and Skins:  Net sales of 391,600 pieces for 2025 were primarily for China (256,600 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 13,100 pieces), Mexico (50,100 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 2,300 pieces), South Korea (37,800 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,200 pieces), Thailand (34,000 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 1,100 pieces), and Brazil (7,800 whole cattle hides, including decreases of 300 pieces). In addition, total net sales reductions of 400 kip skins were for Belgium. Exports of 413,700 whole cattle hides exports were primarily to China (278,300 pieces), South Korea (48,000 pieces), Mexico (43,400 pieces), Thailand (14,600 pieces), and Taiwan (10,100 pieces). Exports of 2,500 kip skins were to Belgium.

Net sales of 88,200 wet blues for 2025 primarily for Hong Kong (53,400 unsplit, including decreases of 4,800 unsplit), Thailand (44,500 unsplit, including decreases of 7,200 unsplit), South Korea (22,400 unsplit), Vietnam (13,700 unsplit, including decreases of 28,900 unsplit), and China (10,400 unsplit, including decreases of 3,300 unsplit), were offset by reductions for Italy (42,600 unsplit), Brazil (21,200 unsplit), and Taiwan (200 grain splits). Exports of 141,600 wet blues were primarily to China (36,400 unsplit), Vietnam (35,900 unsplit), Italy (26,800 unsplit), Thailand (26,200 unsplit), and Taiwan (3,900 unsplit and 900 grain splits). Total net sales of 7,800 splits were for South Korea. No exports of splits were reported for the week.
