USDA ACCEPTS DEIP BIDS FOR BUTTER TO AFRICA AND MIDDLE EAST

WASHINGTON, Sept. 8, 2009 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Commodity Credit Corporation today accepted twelve bids from four exporters under the Dairy Export Incentive Program for butter to Africa and Middle East.

The awards totaled 2,070 metric tons of butter.

Delivery period: Sept. 15 - Dec. 31, 2009

Average bonus: $767.65 per metric ton

Remaining global DEIP balance: none

CCC's bonuses were awarded as following:
